Job Description

Careers that Change LivesThis role is a key position within a newly created team, the APAC Planning Intelligent Hub, which is responsible for the delivery of process innovation, automation and continuous improvement initiatives across APAC Supply Chain Planning. Immediate priority will be to drive capacity relief within APAC Planning teams by facilitating and leading the transition of work to a central transaction engine. It will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation.A Day in the Life

  • To identify and deliver service improvement activity across the business through employing
process improvement methodologies, automation technology and the application of innovative thinking
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning teams across APAC to document, standardize and streamline Supply Chain planning processes, tools, reports and outcomes.
  • To work with key business stakeholders, to build a continuous improvement environment to support an ongoing programme of change
  • To lead and facilitate LEAN/process improvement-based workshops to drive ideas and solutions
  • To support the delivery of better value and greater efficiency through the identification and
elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identification of better waysof working
  • To identify trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement
monitoring system
  • To assist in the development and implementation of a best-in-class continuous improvement
strategy
  • To take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project
delivery via internal governance and controls
  • To elicit requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis,
requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysisMust Have-Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/ Engineering/Information Technology/ Computer science from premium B school
  • Minimum 5-8 years supervisory experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations including people management
  • 5-8 Years hands on planning in SAP and process transformation experience
  • Preferable Experience in Medical Device Industry
  • Lean, Six Sigma green or black belt certification
  • Change Management Agent and experience in complex program management, automation, process & system development
  • Extensive working and technical knowledge of SAP APO and ECC functionality and concepts
  • Effective and seasoned working in a matrix organization and multi-level stakeholder management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and orally, to wide variety of audiences
Nice to haves:
  • Demonstrated track record of SAP APO/ECC knowledge and expertise in participating/leading large scale projects
  • Demonstrated track record of leading teams within complex, global, matrix organizations with a significant number of stakeholders; comfortable leading and facilitating groups with members from various regions and background, most notably during change efforts
  • Strong results orientation (driving to deadlines, financial targets, project goals, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, to develop strategic plans including financial business case and mobilize commitment through excellent communication skills and stakeholder management to/with a wide variety of audiences
  • Skilled in inspiring, influencing and partnering with others, both inside and outside Supply Chain.
  • Strong decision making skills; Sound judgment utilized; takes into account all relevant factors and information
  • Self-driven, resourceful and results-oriented
