The team you ll be part of Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN). Job Description The candidate is expected to have good understanding & hands-on experience of 5G Access Network Planning and Optimization. Candidate should have worked on any live 5G network at least for one year or supported one customer trial in 5G access planning domain. Skillsets & Requirements:
    • Expertise in 5G Access Planning & optimization in following areas
    • IP/VLAN planning for NSA & SA scenarios
    • Classical & Cloud RAN Access planning
    • 5G QoS planning
    • Synchronization planning
    • Transport network resiliency & IPsec planning
    • Performs optimization in terms of capacity, architecture, performance, analyses counters, and metrics on current capacity and usage. Forecasts traffic patterns to evaluate impact on current and future architecture
    • Recommends parameter changes and design evolution
    • Having competence towards future technologies; ORAN, VRAN
    Tools Knowledge:
    • Experience on using tools like
    • ACORD or equivalent
    • xRAN Predictor or equivalent
    • SCF planning tools UDA or equivalent
    • MBH performance analysis tool
    Other Skills:
    • Good understanding of IP transport network
    • E band MW Radio planning using pathloss 5 tool
    • Process understanding of E2e service provisioning in IP Transport network

    Experience:
    • Minimum Experience of 8-10 years
