About the opportunityDepartment DescriptionThe Technology function provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, investment, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer service functions. The broader organisation incorporates Infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day to day basis including data centre, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation. The Central team comprises systems development and support specialists that provide support to departments such as HR Services, Finance, Corporate Services, Legal and Compliance, Risk and Technology across various geographic locations. The services include Production Support of in-house developed application and vendor provided products, small scale enhancements and product.Job DescriptionThe position is for an experienced Technical Consultant in the Central Technology team and will primarily be focussed/responsible for leading Workday integration team .He/She should have good hands-on experience of various Workday Integration tools along with good knowledge of Core HR, Absence management, Benefits, Compensation, Recruitment, Performance and Talent management functions.Expertise/ Hands on experience on report development using report writer, calculated fields & Integration development using EIB, PICOF/PECI, cloud connect, DT and Workday Studio. Good knowledge of XSLT and XML.This demanding role would perfectly suit a dynamic individual looking to work in a fast paced environment to ensure the smooth running of business critical systems.Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Workday integration team, work closely with Workday integration developers/stakeholders and manage day to day tasks along with end to end integration deliveries.
  • Carry out technical analysis/integration impact assessment for various prioritised projects and manage the integration workstream
  • Manage current integration landscape
  • Requirement gathering, analysis, design, build Workday Report & Integrations (custom reports, EIB,CC,Workday Studio,DT)
  • Good knowledge of HR domain, Workday security and administration
  • Handle integration team technical challenges and workout for solution
  • Work with support team for the deliveries and resolution production issues.
  • Aware of bi-annual Workday version updates, changes & impact on Integrations & provide solutions
  • Communication with stakeholders and Reporting
  • Continuous Improvements
  • Perform regular knowledge sharing through documentation and training sessions to team members
  • Provide technical inputs and oversight on new initiatives and propose enhancements on existing systems
  • Can work fairly independently
  • Work in close liaison with the India, UK & Asia Pac based HR Systems and Operations Team and standard operating procedures and governance model.
  • Flexible to work in India and UK hours.
Experience and QualificationsTechnical SkillsEssential Skills:
  • 9-12 years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years of experience in Workday Integrations & custom report development along with proven team leading experience.
  • Expertise in Integration development using EIB, PICOF/PECI, cloud connect, DT and Workday Studio
  • Expertise in various Workday Reports, calculated fields, XSLT, XML
  • Good knowledge of HR Domain, Workday security and administration
  • Workday Integration/studio certified is preferred
  • Exposure of workday version upgrade activities
  • Good knowledge of MS Access & Excel
  • Sound analytical & debugging skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
  • Work experience in supporting web based application (ideally Software-as-a-Service)
  • Experience of working with multi-cultural and geographically disparate teams
  • Flexible and approachable
  • Person should be open to work in UK hours
