+75 is the number of associates that will be part of Lean Digital Core (LDC) spanning across all units and functions globally at Novartis Group.LDC will simplify the way we work and allow us to use data for digital innovation at scale. We will achieve this through a focus on high quality data at the core, supported by end-to-end enterprise processes and new technologies, including the transformation of our ERP backbone to S/4HANA and integrated digital solutions around it. As a key player in the program, this role will be accountable for the design, build and deployment of SAP Analytic solutions based on SAP and non-SAP software components belonging to the Analytics reference architecture of Novartis.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:- As a member of LDC Finance pillar team ensuring all finance analytics business requirements are fully aligned with LDC end to end Analytics team.- Responsible for architecting, designing, implementing, deploying and supporting Finance Analytics Solutions to achieve defined business goal and ensure IT services are aligned with LDC Roadmap, business requirements, standards and regulations.- Responsible for successful delivery of planning and reporting solutions with SAP Analytics Cloud- Manage the design of system solutions in alignment with design and architectural standards, while meeting quality, performance, security and business requirements- Establishes scalable, efficient, automated solutions for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation. - Communicate complex data or algorithms into simple conclusions that will empower leadership to drive action based on the insights you derive.- Significantly contribute and drive multi-year, large-scale projects for key finance processes on global & headquarter core applications with significant impact on Novartis financial results- Collaborate in multi-functional teams to evaluate business activities, and then develop innovative and effective approaches to tackle team s analytics problems and communicate results and methodologies.EEO Statement Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: - 8+ years experience in multiple assignments in IT, preferably relating to Finance, in large, multi-national companies.- Solid educational background, MBA or advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance or Business Administration.- Deep, hands-on technical and operational expertise with IT technologies like: SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BW, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP BW on HANA Pluses: Snowflake, AWS, Azure , R, Python or other data analysis technologies used for machine learning.- Knowledge of SAC as a planning tool for processes like budget, planning, forecast, rolling forecast etc.- Excellent knowledge of business processes, experience in regulated system environment and ability to speak the business language when talking about IT subjects- Experience in advising peers and senior stakeholders on complex issues and provide complex, contextual guidance to influence actions of internal and/or external partners- Experience in managing internal and external experts in different locations and time zonesWhy consider Novartis 769 million lives were touched by Novartis medicines in 2020, and while we re proud of this, we know there is so much more we could do to help improve and extend people s lives.We believe new insights, perspectives and ground-breaking solutions can be found at the intersection of medical science and digital innovation.
