Job Description

Must be eager to learn, teach, cross-train, and work with multiplegroups across time zones.Responsibilities

  • Perform security design reviews, from high-level application architectures to low-level configurations to meet security goals.
  • Perform web application security assessments including manual and automated testing and code reviews.
  • Explain and demonstrate vulnerabilities to application/system owners, and assist with the mitigation of the identified vulnerabilities.
  • Work with application development teams on improving security in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Research the latest security best practices, staying abreast of new threats and vulnerabilities and helping to disseminate this information within the group as well as the organization.
  • Contribute to technical and process improvements.

Your skills & education
  • Keen interest to learn new skill sets and ability to learn new technologies, software, and concepts quickly
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms, design patterns and Object-oriented programming concepts
  • Proficiency in JavaScript with building web front-ends with modern technologies like Angular, React, Backbone etc
  • Proficiency in building responsive, mobile-first front-end web with CSS framework like Bootstrap, Foundation, Angular Material etc
  • Experience working with hybrid mobile app frameworks like Ionic, React Native or progressive web apps
  • Experience working with web page performance optimization tools & techniques and memory management
  • Good knowledge on testing frameworks - MochaJS, JEST, Karma, Jasmine, Test-Driven Development (TDD) is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, reviewing code, reviewing design documents
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others in small, high-performance teams
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or relevant/equivalent technical discipline
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience preferably in software product companies
  • 2+ years of experience in designing & developing scalable web applications
