What You Do @ UsProvide technology leadership for enhancing test automation capability at organization levelAbility and proven experience in advising clients on test automation strategy, setting direction for long term automation plan, bringing in best practices and evaluationPossess in-depth knowledge of multiple open source/commercial tools for Web test automation (QTP/UFT, Selenium, Test Complete, Coded UI, Tosca etc.) and Mobile test automation (Ranorex, Appium, Robotium, SeeTest, etc.)Web and mobile testing (iOS, Android, and Windows), automation frameworks, Continuous Integration tools (Jenkins) and infrastructure for automationSound understanding of agile and DevOps methodologies, conceptsHaving competencies around DevOps, Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryUnderstanding of non-functional testing and ability to integrate the same within automation solutionServing as an expert in defining and rolling out standard Automation Frameworks, in line with latest industry trends (Robot Framework, Script less automation, etc.)Providing end-to-end delivery support for testing engagementsActively participating with sales executives in client meetings and help sell QA servicesWorking on Sales Support for RFPsReviewing and implementing best-fit solutions among options evaluatedEstablishing baseline requirements for the project with the Client and develop estimatesAbility to implement quantitative test process measurement techniquesIntegrating manual and automated test effortPreparing and carving out service offeringsUnderstanding software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case execution, deployment and, test data, defect tracking, and test automationExperience You Must Carry14+ years of professional career experience in IT domain mostly12+ years of relevant testing experience in Automation Space3+ years as Architect-Test AutomationAdept at carving out / architecting commercially viable testing solutions, creating value differentiatorsStrong knowledge of Test Automation tools - JMeter & SeleniumAPI Test Automation and Performance TestingStrong knowledge on TDD/BDD MethodologyFinancial Services domain (Preferred)Manage a team onsite and offshoreStrong communication skills and able to interact with client independentlyStatus reporting and metricsIn-depth knowledge of Platforms like Windows / UNIX / Mainframes / MidrangeGood consulting, communication, convincing, presentation skills and Negotiation SkillsIn-depth knowledge of Testing concepts and Test Project managementExpert knowledge of Effort Estimation and Scheduling, Scope definitionGood Understanding of Technology and Client Business (Domain knowledge and exposure in at least one domain from Telecom, HC, Energy & Utilities, BFSI)Must have Advanced / Expert level of knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and processesHands-on QA Automation experience with proven abilities to design, construct, customize and maintain hybrid Test automation frameworksProficient in defining and constructing generic automation frameworks for web based and windows-based applicationsProficient on automating scripts on mobile versions of above platformAn expert on at least two of the following : Selenium (Web Driver suite of tools, Auto It) MS suite of tools (c#, coded UI, VSTS Web API automation (SOAP / REST) using Java, C#, SOAPUI with Groovy, UFT, POSTMAN UFT & or Lean FT SAP Automation using UFT Database Testing using SQL and C#, Java and JDBC, Python and PyTestSound knowledge of RDBMS database Selenium AND Web driver AND Automation AND (C# OR Coded UI OR VSTS) AND Java UFT AND SQL AND PythonSound knowledge of Java / C#, web .Net and VB technologies
