Determining size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy , and font style and size. Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements if required. Present the design to clients or the director. Requirements5+ years experience Drawing skills and the ability to adapt to a wide range of styles Working closely with the copywriter to generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the clients brief Producing sketches or storyboards (television) or roughs or scamps (print) to communicate ideas to the client Pitching ideas to clients Briefing other members of the creative team Commissioning photographers , artists or film - makers to work on projects Visiting and assessing locations for potential shoots Possession of creative flair , versatility , conceptual / visual ability and originality Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio Ability to interact , communicate and present ideas Up to date with industry leading software and technologies (In Design , Illustrator , CorelDraw , Photoshop etc) Highly proficient in all design aspects Professionalism regarding time , costs and deadlines English fluency and strong communication , organization and time - management skills are essential for this role Knowledge in Adobe After Effects and Premiere etc is plus Candidates who have experience in advertising agency are preferred. ,
