The Financial Controls & Compliance Assistant Manager will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controls & Compliance Manager in ensuring compliance.Your responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ensure the implementation of risk management, financial compliance and controls (Business Process Controls, Internal and External Audits), and provide necessary information to internal and external auditors. Understand business process, perform risk assessment, walkthroughs, conducting tests of design and operating effectiveness of controls Assess and analyze activities related to Segregation of duties Provide training and support to control owners to strengthen internal control compliance Work in a cross cultural and cross country control owners, CXO stakeholders and in country FC&C Maintain the required control landscape and ensure process compliance to Novartis polices and country specific policies Monitor and Report on Key Performance Indicators, analyze trends and provide insights on the overall controls and compliance to various local and global stakeholders Participate and perform high quality global Financial Controls and Compliance reviews for areas such as Account reconciliations and compliance with Novartis guidelines and SOX requirements Participate in projects such as controls harmonization across multiple business units and divisions, implementation of automated controls, controls data analyticsEEO Statement Novartis is committed to building an outstanding, inclusive work environment and diverse teams representative of the patients and communities we serve.Minimum requirements What you ll bring to the role: 5+ years of working experience in SoX reviews and internal audits Experience of Independently working with cross country teams Chartered Accountant/ MBA with relevant experience.
