Job Description

- Developing Research Agenda consisting of multiple research themes on family business in consultation with Executive Director - Leading a team of researchers to build a research database and undertake empirical research - Planning, guiding and monitoring the activities of the team of researchers - Managing collaborative research projects with external organisations. - Conceiving and Taking up research projects in an individual capacity wherever appropriate - Writing research grant proposals - Preparing research papers for high quality academic publications - Preparing White Papers and Monographs based on empirical research - Organizing workshops and conferences to disseminate research findings - Identifying opportunities for developing case studies and preparing cases and teaching notes - Coordinating with the Executive Director and build the team of academics and non- academics at the Centre - Coordinating with the Executive Director and publishing the newsletter and any other publications of the Centre Establishing and Maintaining required internal and external relationships and engaging in collaborative work with faculty and scholars within and outside ISB, family business professionals, and other relevant individuals and organizations in consultation with Executive DirectorRESPONSIBILITIES Developing database and undertake research Leading a team of researchers Developing case studies Organizing workshops and seminars Publication of white papers and newsletter Building external relationshipsSKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualification : Preferably PhD. MBA or Masters level degree from reputed institutions with excellent academic credentials and adequate research experience may also be considered Proven high quality research capabilities using different methodologies to lead a research team Strong proven people skills Ability to take initiative and conceptualise independently Proven leadership qualities Proven experience in research, publications and case writing Technical: Strong organizing and writing skills, Event Management skills, Social Media knowledge, Strong knowledge of the government and its functioning Behavioral: Excellent Interpersonal Skills, Ability to multi- task, ability to build meaningful relationships, ability to work well with team in remote environment.,
