Job Description

Reporting to General Manager and Management Representative, the BD Intern will be responsible for identifying, generating and nurturing Prospective Leads. The BD Intern is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

This internship program is thoughtfully orchestrated to provide you with strategic projects, broad exposure to the company, and bodies of work that will impact the business directly. As an HR intern at Integrated, you will be at the center of the company s transformation, carrying the energy of our company s culture to help leaders, teams, and individuals model our cultural attributes and drive the business forward. As a BD Intern at IPSS, You would be responsible for increasing the companys sales. Use various channels and spend a significant part of time in prospecting. BD Intern objective is to identify Prospective clients, generate leads, convert and secure the clients. BD Intern would assist the management in managing those customers in order to retain them.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Currently enrolled in an MBABBA in Marketing or Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing.
  • Recent Graduates (Year 2020) holding an MBA in Marketing from a B-School.

    Experience:

    • Ability to work with business to business (B2B), B2C Sales Business Development experience in the IT Industry.
    • An aggressive personality, driven by performance would be a good fit for this role.
    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
    • Strong listening and presentation skills.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
    • Well versed with the use of Office,SalesCRM Applications.
    • Researching and identifying sales opportunities, generating leads, target identification and classification.
    • Reaching out to new partners and making business partnership presentations or pitches outlining the benefits of our services.
    • Maintaining relationships with all potential and existing partners in various geographies.
    • Checking Tenders and reporting to management and gathering market intelligence of the Industry and Competitors.
    • Coming up with new creative ideas about marketing.

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

      • Prepare RFPs, EOI and be able to understand the scope, profit, risks etc.
      • Develop Proposals as needed.
      • Provide response to E-Procurement Bids and Participate in Pre-Bid Meetings.
      • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
      • Preparing reports trackers for the various activities involved in achieving the sales plan.
      • Researching organizations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets.
      • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc.)
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays.
      • Developing quotes and proposals.
      • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
      • Flesh out marketing material such as project case studies and developer profiles (CVs) based on prospective clients needs.
