Job Description

Job Purpose (Job Summary):As a member of Performance Reporting and Platform Services, you will be responsible for delivering business intelligence reporting on investment performance, analytics and attribution statistics. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our internal customer base. The ability to effectively communicate with business clients and IT professionals globally is a must. Due to the breadth of the role, interested individuals should have a thirst for learning, be able to wear multiple hats, detailed oriented and enjoy contributing to the team. This is an in office role working out of our Hyderabad location.Key Responsibilities / Duties:

• Under limited supervision, development of business intelligence reporting that is insightful, clear and tailored for each audience.
• Write complex DAX formulas to calculate statistics
• Leverage tools including R, SQL, Python or VBA to efficiently source and calculate statistics.
• Actively participate in championing for user adoption of visualization tools
• Create and present accurate estimates of effort, costs and timescales for proposed projects
• Implement standards and best practices for visualizations
• Automation of existing business intelligence reports
• Consult with stakeholders to understand business intelligence requirements and obtain consensus on solution.
• Partner closely with Technology to understand existing databases and communicate requirements for new datasets required to meet reporting needs.
• Team with Performance Reporting and Platform Services teammates and stakeholders to address testing needs and results, including issue tracking, as well as post-implementation assessments of completed work
• Ensure all solutions are accompanied by appropriate documentation that meets internal standards
• Ensure Management and business stakeholders are kept fully up to date on progress
• Escalate issues and remediation steps when needed effectively and in a timely manner

Work Experience / Knowledge:

• Minimum 3-6 years of proven experience in developing business intelligence dashboards with tools such as Power BI (preferred) or Tableau.
• Proficiency in writing SQLs and stored procedures, and use of query and reporting analysis tools
• Experience working with ETL tools such as Alteryx (preferred), Informatica, R or Python
• Experience writing moderately complex DAX formulas
• Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets both on premises and in the cloud. Examples include MS SQL Server, Oracle, AWS Athena, S3, Snowflake, etc.
• Understanding of data warehouse design principles and dimensional modeling
• Advanced Excel skills
• Broad knowledge of financial services/asset management industry and investment process in particular
• Experience utilizing project management methodologies such as Agile, best practices and processes
• Desire to stay abreast of new development tools and methods

Formal Education:

• A Bachelor s Degree in Computer Information Systems is preferred or commensurate relevant work experience

Working Conditions

• Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures.
• The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary.
• Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment.
• Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hour a day on call support by pager and/or cell phone.
