Job Description

WKO Data Analytics & OperationsAssociateJPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) is a leading global financial services firm with assets of $2 trillion and operations in more than 60 countries. WKO Data Analytics & Operations team is part of JPMorgan s Wholesale KYC Operations.The successful candidate has strong processing and analytical skills; the ability to work independently and is adaptable to change. In addition, the candidate needs to demonstrate banking and KYC knowledge, the ability to exercise sound judgment and to observe the highest degree of confidentiality in the handling of information received during their responsibilities.This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals with advanced problem solving and communication skill. Responsibilities:

  • Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and develop well-reasoned recommendations
  • Drive, build and deliver analytic queries via Alteryx/Tableau based requirements from Governance/Steering Committee within the given SLA
  • Hands-on experience on data analytics tools like Alteryx and Tableau
  • Review and interpret complex data to analyze patterns and trends in the data sets
  • Maintain discipline around sharing updates with Stakeholders, circulating MOMs, archiving and maintaining record of all updates
  • Engage and collaborate with Stakeholders to understand user requirements and deliver as per expectation leveraging data analytic tools like Alteryx, Tableau, IDQ, Signavio, Visio, etc.
  • Leveraging tools like Alteryx and Tableau to automate activities leading to efficiency and better controls
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced/time sensitive environment to support a team
  • Gather/analyze complex data and develop accurate conclusions with enough comprehension of the business to understand risk implications
  • Document process flows, SOPs, Track and update changes and analyse changes in a timely manner and consistence with Firm s standards
  • Perform sample review of processed volumes to ensure qualitative deliverables and identify process gaps, if any
  • Facilitate forums to address the priority of reported enhancements and defects
  • Evaluate existing project management processes and look for areas of improvement
  • Assist with change management as new features are delivered through systematic integrations
  • In conjunction with manager and consistent with overall department objectives, establish and execute on annual development goals
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and other similar exercises as per requirement
Qualifications:
  • Overall, 8 to 10 years experience with 2-4 years in data analytics tools like Alteryx, Exceptor, Python and Tableau
  • Knowledge in data analytics tools like Alteryx and Tableau
  • Alteryx Core certified professional with experience in delivering projects
  • Self-starter, capable of working under minimum supervision
  • Adept with multi-tasking and meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments
  • Results oriented Team Manager
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Exceptional research and analytical skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data and develop well-reasoned recommendations
  • Adherence to controls and standards
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyze complex business processes
  • Subject Matter Expertise across KYC, AML & Client Reference Data is a plus
