Job Description

Job Purpose (Job Summary):Key Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Assist in addressing day to day batch compliance issues related to trading strategies and the application of technology related or manual controls
  • Slicing and dicing of data including comparison between various applications
  • Identify any potential breach through transaction activity and reporting and/or escalating in accordance with the guidelines detailed in relevant operating procedures and following up with respective parties to ensure rectification.
  • Assist in reviews of investment guidelines to maintain evergreen compliance environment; build, test, implement, supervise, maintain and improve required quantitative rules on CRD
  • Help in preparing documentation to support reviews conducted and to substantiate and demonstrate adequate processes / controls to meet SEC / regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
  • Get along with members of the global compliance team to assess, document, monitor, report, develop, coordinate, and implement various compliance monitoring activities, ongoing testing and related controls.
  • Effectively find solutions to compliance issues as they arise.
  • Assist in Compliance related projects and responsibilities and bring efficiencies in the process through automations or implementation of enhanced controls
  • Collaborate and Connect with overseas colleagues, both verbal and written, as and when required
  • Respond to basic, intermediary and advanced/complex questions/queries from other teams and report to manager for any critical issue
Working Timings:Timing would be primarily aligned to APAC Region i.e. 06.30am to 3.30pm IST however this is subject to change based on business requirement from time to time. Work Experience / Knowledge:1 to 3 years of work experience in investment compliance with an investment advisor or mutual fund group. Good understanding of capital markets, financial products and asset management industry.Skills / Other Personal Attributes Required:

  • Proficiency on MS Office suite of applications

  • Familiarity with trading systems and compliance components such as Charles River, Bloomberg, LZ Sentinel or Aladdin
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
  • B. Com / M. Com / MBA /CA / Degree in Commerce/Finance
