To get the best candidate experience, please consider applying for a maximum of 3 roles within 12 months to ensure you are not duplicating efforts.Job CategorySales Job DetailsThe role is responsible for building and standardizing a suite of data visualization, reporting, and empowerment tools to maximize efficiency across all levels and functions of the Customer Success and Growth (CSG) organization. In this role, you will be tased with research and analyze data to create compelling visualizations using Tableau.This role is critical in developing a 360 degree framework for scalable self-service analytics and data visualization; a critical component for driving excellence in strategy, planning, operations, and decision making. You will work with a global team of data and strategy professionals with a wide variety of backgrounds (management consulting, business intelligence, data analytics, strategy and operations, etc). This is a great opportunity for a data professional who enjoys collaborating and working cross functionally in a fast paced environment.Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop: Build data sets and dashboards in Tableau that can be used by business stakeholders to track business KPIs and derive actionable insights to optimize future strategies
  • Design: Build repeatable processes and reporting packages to empower both Customer Success leaders and their teams with critical operational data related to strategy and execution.
  • Iterate: Improve and maintain standardized operational reports and dashboards to monitor overall health, data integrity, and other key objectives and performance indicators. Support ongoing analysis of business performance. Inform executive decisions.
  • Analyze: Analyze large amounts of business datasets to develop strategic insights or solve key business problems.
  • Project Management: Run analytics projects/programs through their lifecycle; Create strategies for risk mitigation and contingency planning; Oversee deliverables on projects where necessary; Efficiently identify and resolve program issues; Design and maintain technical and project documentation.
  • Partner: Build strong working relationships with internal teams, including data engineering, operations, product management, and business stakeholders to support analytical product development and measuring impact and adoption.
  • Communicate: Engage with internal teams to showcase results and drive adoption of best practices.
  • Grow: Regularly assess and improve your own performance in such areas as job knowledge, technical skills, productivity, accountability, quality, initiative, innovation, drive, working relationships, communications, leadership, and alignment with the Salesforce core values.
  • Enable: Mentor junior team members, super users across the business, and members of the larger Customer Success data visualization community.
Required Skill and Experience:Education / Experience
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, business analytics, or equivalent technical or quantitative degree required, advanced degree preferred.
  • 4 years experience in analytics, engineer, program management, and/or operations role.
  • 4 years experience in data analysis is preferred
Technical Skills
  • Experience working with Tableau or similar data visualization tools; Tableau certifications are a plus.
  • Experience writing complex database queries in SQL language (Oracle, Hive, etc).
  • Experience scripting in Python, R, Hive ,Pig or Unix.
  • Experience with data source design or the data warehouse space.
  • Experience with salesforce.com is a plus.
  • Experience with advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, machine learning using python/R is a plus.
  • Experience working with cloud data sources is a plus.
Design Skills
  • Experience analyzing data to identify deliverables, gaps, and inconsistencies.
  • Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics for reporting.
  • Experience designing data source and applying visual best practices.
  • Demonstrated success as a highly creative, analytical, and curious technologist and problem solver.
Business Skills
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex projects from start to finish, working effectively across internal functional teams and external vendor relationships is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to juggle and prioritize a high volume workload while handling details accurately, in a timely manner, and under pressure. Strong time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task, handle frequent interruptions, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate complex technical analysis to a broad variety of audiences including business executives

Working ConditionsThe physical environment requires the employee to work indoors in an office space. Employee is exposed to controlled temperature and air, adequate natural and artificial light, average noise levels. Employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 90% of the time.
