Our industry focus includes aerospace and defence, healthcare, telecommunications, rail transportation, semiconductor, geospatial, industrial, and energy.Job DescriptionJob Title:Bid Manager / Sr Bid AnalystRole:As a bid manager, the role encompasses end-to-end management of the bids & pursuits right from qualifying the opportunity, developing win strategies/value proposition, creating & delivering high-quality proposals complying with client requirements and post bid support to sales till successful closure.Responsibilities:The ideal candidate would be part of bids & pursuits team and as a bid manager the person is responsible to:

  • Act as single point of contact (SPOC) between sales, presales, delivery and other internal / external teams (partners or product vendors) from qualification through to contract award.
    • Manage the bid qualification (bid go / no go) process for new opportunities RFP/RFQ/RFI/eTenders.
    • Provide market analysis (current / future trends), competitor analysis and gap analysis
    • Devise win strategy including win themes, competitive analysis, pricing strategy and action plans
    • Risk tracking and management throughout the bid process
    • Closely liaise with sales, presales/SME, delivery and other internal teams / support functions and articulate / develop key value proposition, USPs, and comprehensive proposals for RFP/RFQ/RFI/eTenders.
    • Support sales and delivery teams to negotiate with clients during all the phases of pre-contract signing till contract closure.
  • Implement innovative ideas and best practices ensuring quality, timely and compelling proposals.
  • Extend the support to marketing and sales team in preparation of Go-to-Market plans, collaterals and other relevant marketing materials.
  • Assist sales team in supplier empanelment/vendor registrations, uploading the final proposal responses in customer portals or online tendering portals
  • Coordinate with legal and other internal teams or functions to support sales in executing NDA, teaming/partner/sub-contractor agreement and master services agreement with clients.
  • Generate and keep track of all the proposals across geos through proposal tracker.
  • Maintain a repository of reusable content/proposals/collaterals and assist team with the latest information as and when required.
Desired Candidate Profile:The ideal candidate should match the following criteria:Level of Education:
  • Degree in any discipline or higher education from a recognized university.
  • Post Graduate in Business Administration from a reputed institution with a specialization in Marketing & Finance.
  • ITIL, APMP certification would be preferable.
Experience:
  • 5-7 years in proposal writing, bid coordinating and managing role, preferably within the IT solutions industry.
  • Working experience in Utilities domain is preferred.
Professional skills:
  • Should have strong experience in end-to-end bid management process.
  • Should have complete understanding of SDLC and Scrum/Agile framework
  • Should have knowledge / familiar with Cloud and Infrastructure services
  • Should have hands-on in Visio, Word, Excel, Project Plan and PowerPoint.
  • Should be able to work under pressure within challenging deadlines.
  • Should have the ability to manage multiple bids concurrently and work with cross functional teams.
  • Should be able to derive commercials for specified services environment.
  • Should have strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Should be able to communicate with and influence senior management, clients, and delivery teams to win business.
  • Should be able to handle all client visits and coordinate client interaction activities.
  • Should have proven writing / editing skills, and adhere to the brand compliance.
  • Should be able to handle large bids and manage bids end-to-end.
