Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1. Monitor the Supplier quality performance like PPM, Field failures and improve the performance with appropriate actions 2. Ensuring quality concerns from suppliers are adressed using tools such as 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma etc. 3. Quality planning for Incoming inspection of supplier parts like Gears, Shafts, Transmission Housings, Plastic Parts. 4. Performing Incoming inspection of the supplier parts as per quality plan 5. Conducting Supplier audits as per the Audit plan & identify areas of improvement for improving quality of the Parts , process & product 6. Conducting PPAP for supplier parts for all Engineering changes, New project parts, quality /process improvement. 7. Provide Inputs /suggestions to Product development Team for the horizontal deployment of Lessons learnt , Design Change Request to improve part & prodict quality. Functional Competency :1) Knowledge on Casting, Machining, Heat Treatment, Gear manufacturing process 2) Hands in Experience in using various Instruments like CMM, Gear profile checking, Height Gauge, Micrometer, Bore/Duial Gauges 3) Knowledge on FMEA, Control plan, MSA, Process capability & other statistical tools. 4) Knowledge of using effective problem solving tools such as Kaizen, 8D etc. 5) Knowledge on APQP & PPAP process 6) Basic Knowledge on TS16949 QMS.Experience6-8+ yearsIndustry PreferredQualificationsBtechGeneral RequirementsJob Segment: Engineer, Machinist, Engineering, Manufacturing ,
