Job Description

E-Fate Study Director JDMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, Conduct, and report a wide range of Efate studies.
  • Build and maintain reputation of technical excellence and value-added Efate study support.
THE FOLLOWING REQUIRMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Technical background with a minimum of a MSC in life sciences / chemistry, or related field.
  • One or more years of demonstrated professional experience performing Efate studies or suitable equivalent discipline.
  • Experience with conducting aerobic and anaerobic degradation studies, adsorption/desorption studies, aqueous photolysis, and hydrolytic degradation studies.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of GLP Study Director responsibilities and how to design and conduct Efate studied to meet customer requirements and regulatory guidelines, including, but not limited to the following
  • EPA GLP 40 CFR 160
  • EPA GLP 40 CFR 792
  • OECD GLP
  • Familiarity with OECD guidelines 106, 111,121,307 and 316 plus USEPA guidelines in OCSPP 835 series.
  • Ability to find pragmatic solution to technical challenges and solve situational problems.
  • Knowledge of radiochemistry techniques and operation of liquid scintillation coulters.
  • Be able to demonstrate a sound knowledge of modern chromatographic techniques including GC, HPLC and LC-MS/MS.
  • Have a proven ability to plan and conduct a schedule of parallel running studies to high standard, on time and on budget.
  • Enjoy working in a team environment and training and developing technical staff.
  • Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of GLP procedures.
  • Display excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Position may require minimal travel to key conferences in support of business development activities.
THE FOLLOWING IS DESIRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION:
  • Experience in managing radiolabeled Efate studies a plus.
Qualification: MSc Agriculture, MSc Life Science, M.PharmacyExperience: 3-5 Years in GLP certified laboratorys
