Job Description

An Event Organizer is mainly responsible for planning and organizing an event. He/she takes care of all the operations related to an event, right from the start to the end. It involves both public & private events business fares and exhibitions, anniversary celebrations, birthday parties, music concerts, functions, conferences, and promotions events.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Exploring markets to recognize the various types of opportunities for events
  • Meeting clients, understanding their requirements and presenting the services
  • Marketing the services and making proposals to the clients
  • Making the budgets for events
  • Finding and booking a suitable location for an event
  • Following the rules & regulations, including legal, health and safety requirements
  • Coordinating with the vendors like caterers, decorators etc-etc.
  • Making and reviewing the arrangements for an event like seating arrangements, parking, security, first aid, housekeeping and hospitality etc-etc.
  • Contacting sponsors
  • Arranging materials for delegates tickets, posters, catalogues etc
  • Answering queries
  • Maintaining records, and making post-event evaluation
