Job Description

As a Production Management Lead you will be responsible for building best in class Production Support capability for Consumer and Community Banking Lines of Businesses. You will be required to build partnership with leaders across functions (including Application Development, Architecture, Risk & Control and Production Management) in improving design, visibility, availability, scalability and performance of our end to end product flows & the underlying applications. You ll be responsible for driving efficiency through automation of manual processes, deep dive into incidents and facilitate blameless post mortems. You will drive a measure everything approach through standardized telemetry in order to drive improved alerting, decision making, analysis, error budgeting, and various optimizations. You will bring an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development methodologies such as AgileThis role requires you to build a deep knowledge of the business you support, understand the end to end customer journeys, BoW being executed to roll out new features to production. It also requires you to have a thorough understanding of the controls in place in the firm that we need to adhere to meet internal/external audit requirements. In this role, you will need to build and sustain a high performance team that has complementary skills to support production operations & SRE & help with transformation of the team into SRE.Qualifications:Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
  • Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
  • Understanding of architecture and design across heterogeneous systems
  • Experience in development/support of REST API interfaces, streaming applications (Spark streaming and Kafka), SQL and No-SQL DBs (specifically with Cassandra or HBase), Spring Boot, distributed caching solutions such as Gemfire. Experience implementing API gateway products like Apigee, evaluating open source and vendor products, Experience conducting hands on POCs to prove concepts/products, building distributed systems at Internet scale, migrating applications to internal and external clouds
  • Experience in engineering solutions for metrics gathering/publishing and event collection/correlation across distributed architectures, automation, monitoring, intelligent alerting, random fault injection (Chaos Engineering), and self-healing
  • Experience with tuning high volume flows end-to-end
  • Strong understanding of concurrency patterns, data structures and algorithms, and strong understanding of domain driven design, Microservices patterns and architectures.
  • Experience with high volume, mission critical applications, and building upon messaging and or event-driven architectures. Understanding of container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with infrastructure and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Salt, Ansible, CloudFormation and ARM templates.
  • Good understanding of storage tools and technologies like Splunk, netcool, keynote
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure hardware of various OS platforms and SAN/Load balancers
  • Experience with determining correct solution sizing/scaling based on business requirements
  • Solid experience with clustering, load balancing and high availability solutions
  • Experience with infrastructure and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Salt, Ansible, CloudFormation and ARM templates.
