If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment to deliver world class mission critical systems, this may be the career opportunity for you!A day in the lifeAs a Front-End Engineer at BDT, you will: Create delightful, world-class human-machine interfaces while considering experimental research, business requirements, customer feedback, and usability study findings Design and develop the UI architecture, interface, interaction flow of the front-end applications Learn about all layers of the stack exposed to users through the UI. Write tooling to help you and other engineers move faster Challenge and mentor other engineers Code with no fear, supported by continuous builds, tests, a constructive code-review process, and a supportive culture of identifying and fixing bugs, 2+ years of professional non-internship experience with front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis- - - - Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, agile development, build processes, testing, and operations Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and test software in a fast-paced environment Experience with any major JavaScript framework, TypeScript and Node.js Experience instrumenting applications with real user metrics to reflect the customer experience Track record of delivering stable, performant, secure and scalable front-end software Self-motivated, able to solve problems independently, and able to work well in teams Strong communication skills, and experience mentoring other engineers Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
