Job Description

  • Hands-on experience in front-end development using Javascript frameworks (NodeJS/ReactJS)/Angular.
  • Develop, test, debug, and implement software programs, applications and projects using HTML, CSS, Javascript, TypeScript.
  • Good understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST and API design for extensibility and portability.
  • Familiarity with source control tools such as GIT, Jenkins CI/CD and any build tool (eg. Maven).
  • Basic command line and shell scripting in Linux environment.
  • End to end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation.
  • Participate in the design of UI Frameworks and provide thoughtful insight and suggestions in code reviews
  • Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • Strong Java 1.8 core features such as functional programming, Lambda, memory management and hands on coding skills.
  • Software Design concepts: OOA, Design Patterns and UML
  • Strong knowledge of Spring, Spring Boot
  • Developing server-side Java code for web applications in an Enterprise environment, utilizing popular J2EE application servers such as WebSphere/Tomcat/JBoss
  • Define and implement coding standards, secured application development, documentation, Release and configuration management and knowledge in CI/CD.
  • Experienced in Database development (Oracle database, Normalization, SQL, PL/SQL) and ORM tools like Hibernate
  • Experience with build tools like Maven and Knowledge in container based tools Docker or AWS is a plus.
  • Exposure to Micro Services Architecture and experienced in Rest API.
  • Experience in debugging the applications and must have knowledge in unix commands to monitor the logs, search and scripting.
  • Well versed in SDLC using Agile Scrum and execute the deployment of releases.
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Experience with Hadoop eco-system is a plus
