Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: This position serves as a strategic business partner for all human resource related initiatives and activities for an assigned business division. Provide leadership, direction and developmental support in alignment with F5 s business goals and objectives for increased effectiveness, efficiency, growth and profitability. Ensure employee and management adherence to company policies and practices and ongoing compliance with applicable federal, state and local employment laws.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for upholding F5 s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or

other company policies.

In partnership with executive and senior management, actively contribute to formulate, develop, implement

and drive results on key organizational issues, including but not limited to: process improvement, change

management, employee relations, performance management, employee development, succession planning,

policy and procedure applications, recruitment and retention of a diverse work force as well as day-to-day

operations.

Work on complex employee relation issues independently and with legal as needed to closure.

Partner with compensation by conducting ongoing job analyses as needed to align with compensation

leveling plans and guidelines.

May develop and implement HR programs, procedures and plans.

Maintain current and complete understanding and ensure organizational compliance of all federal, state and

local laws including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, FMLA, ADEA, FLSA and EEO regulations.

Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to successfully establish and maintain professional

relationships and work effectively with all levels of management.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. 5+ years experience functioning in a leadership role with broad knowledge and scope in human resource management, preferably in a high-tech environment. PHR / SPHR certification preferred. Project management experience preferred. Master s degree in related field (Business, HR, Industrial Relations) a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Demonstrated ability to model leadership behaviors to present, influence, negotiate and effectively coach

employees and management to use company best practices for maximum effectiveness.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with all levels of the

organization

Demonstrated ability to use a variety of communication media to disseminate HR initiatives/policies.

Ability to handle complex employee issues to closure.
