The Shipping & Delivery Support Knowledge Management (SDS KM) team is looking for an exceptional instructional designer to create and continuously improve learning programs using an array of creative approaches that inspire learners and drive productivity.This includes both self- and instructor-led trainings for our Customer Service associates around the world. The role requires an individual who can innovate, move quickly, and not be constrained by how things have been done before.Specific responsibilities will include: Use appropriate tools and delivery methods to produce blended learning materials promoting learning through self-study, practice, performance support, socialization and knowledge-sharing. Leverage technology to improve learner access and provide just in time learning. Pursue a deep understanding of learner roles to ensure that learning solutions meet the needs of stakeholders and end users. Maintain knowledge of new learning approaches, technology and tools through continuous research to ensure our solutions deliver innovation. Develop assessments that measure learner outcomes including productivity and understanding. Develop comprehensive training/design plan used as a progress and communicate tool for stakeholders. Conduct learning needs analysis and design learning approach that is engaging to learners. Design, develop, and evaluate training for multiple modalities and a global audience. Develop and communicate timelines and provide updates to stakeholders. Prioritize effectively to manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives. Collaborate effectively with other teams and subject matter experts (SMEs) to support launches of new products and services, as well as supporting updates to existing products and services. Responsible for LMS Administrator tasks, including: upload of new content, updated to existing content and curricula creation. Required overlap with North America business hours 7 AM - 1PM EDT/EST., Basic qualifications 3+ years program management experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven record of managing multifaceted, global content projects with tight deadlines Awareness of adult learning theory Effective written and verbal communication management skills Experience with ID/LXD tools such as Storyline, Vyond, Rise, basic excel, PowerPoint Must demonstrate agile mindset to adapt to evolving requirements Exhibits the ability to pursue professional growth in the ID and project management spaces Enthusiasm working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture Preferred qualifications Experience as a content strategist or information architect Experience developing and managing content for an international audience Experience with design tools such as Adobe Suite,and video editing toolsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
