By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally , we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.NTT DATA Services currently seeks a Jr. Oracle DBA to join our team in Hyderabad , Andhra Pradesh (IN - AP) , India (IN).Customer Interview is required , and no offers to be made without Customer Acceptance Manage daily incident , service and change request processesMaking recommendations for preventative maintenance including any necessary justificationReporting utilization , tuning and server performanceIdentifying opportunities to reduce costs and / or improve server performancePerform all monitoring of server and database systemsPerforming all physical database administration functions , including storage management , maintenance , tailoring and monitoring of database software products , backup and recovery , and support for the databases and application monitoringDaily reporting on backup success / failure and taking appropriate actionsApplying DBMS upgrades and software patches , as required , to maintain supportable environmentPerforming standard database housekeeping and maintenance scripts on a periodic basis , (including database re - indexing , stored procedure rebuilds , and database defragmentation)Assist application teams in executing database archiving strategiesFollow decommissioning processes for servers / databases approved to decommissionMaintain an accurate inventory of database and database server deploymentsThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA , Inc. or its subsidiaries.
