Job Description

  • Establish, implement and enforce EHSS Documentation throughout the company.
  • Liaison with Quality Assurance Dept pertaining to interlinked documentation such as pest control management.
  • Ensure Audit observations (internal/external) are closed and complied in line with the policy.

  • Competent in implementation of safety systems from Project stage to operation stage.
  • Hazardous waste management (segregation, Receipt, Storage and Disposal) at site.
  • Liaising with Govt. Authorities like PCB, Fire department. Ensure compliance of all legal
  • Safety rules & regulations and implementation of various Acts.
  • Monitor Health surveillance of employees and take corrective actions.
  • To coordinate and monitor Pest Control activities.
  • Prepare and review SOPs, work instructions, Risk assessments and Process Hazard Analysis
  • Conduct incident investigations, inspections, and risk assessments at site
  • Facilitate internal as well as EHS audits to monitor progress and areas of improvement
  • Ensure the effective implementation of LOTO, contractor safety, work permit, and other best practices
  • EHSS Documentation including SOP s, Change controls, deviations, CAPA, validations, qualifications etc.
  • ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation and documentation
  • Conduct periodic mock drills based on onsite emergency plan
  • Actively participate in the activities carried out regarding the safety in the concerned area.
  • To organize safety committee meetings

Educational Qualification:
  • MSc Chemistry/industrial safety/MTech Chemical Eng.
Technical/functional Skills:
  • Safe Systems of work (permit to work, risk assessment etc)
