    • The candidate should have 20-25 years of experience, with an IRSE PDE plus verifier license.
    • Lead a team of Design Engineers
    • Able to design Railway Signaling Wayside designs.
    • Have good Knowledge on Signalling interlocking principles for UK and Indian Railways including circuit design and operation, signaling components and the implications of working with other disciplines
    • UK/Indian Railways signaling Standards knowledge.
    • Have hands on experience with CAD and related tools.
    • Signaling Application design experience.
    • Carry out design and design production checks on Signaling systems s.
    • Preparation of signaling schemes designs, specifications and reports, applying first principles for relevant parts of new or altered signalling systems, to meet client requirements.
    • Scheme development and Detailed Design. Work content includes: CAD drawing; signalling layouts; power calculations and other (i.e. braking distance) spreadsheet work; LOC and REB design; generation and initial evaluation of signaling options and staging; circuit analysis; Technical report writing; interfacing with other disciplines and project and QA administration.
    • Provide functional support and guidance to the Design Engineer(s) within the team on all aspects of Signal Design within allocated projects.
    • Ensure technical and safety standards are maintained in all aspects of Signaling system work as instructed.
