Job Description

*Designation: Manager Tax OperationsTeam Size: 15 - 20 members including team leaders.Reporting to: Country Tax Head / Area Tax ManagerRole DescriptionSupervises & Achieves seamless service delivery of multi-regional compliance operations of tax teams operating from DSCI (Danisco Services Center India-Hyderabad) across Indirect & Direct Tax Regimes. Should be capable of handling the India Direct Tax Compliance & India TP Compliance independently.Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibilities includes but not limited to.

  • Supervising seamless compliance operations delivery to ensure originations right to operate and un compromised tax obligations compliance adherence
  • Accountable to define, execute and monitor wide varieties of process KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and KSFs (Key Success Factors)
  • Internal controls frame work design/execution/review to ensure fully compliant controlled environment to successfully get through internal/external/departmental audits/assessments
  • Depth knowledge on India Direct Tax - Advance Tax Calculation & payment, preparation and filing of Annual Income Tax Return, resolution on TDS quarries, defending Income Tax Assessments & maintain litigation tracker.
  • Shall be responsible for review of company s Financial, finalization of Tax Audit Report Form No. 3CD, Coordination with 3 rd Party Consultant to finalize TP Study Report and Transfer Pricing Audit Form No. 3CEB, defending TP Assessment, review of margins from Transfer price perspective.
  • Adequate knowledge of CBCR and Master File Preparation.
  • Effective cost conservative and good in negotiation with 3 rd party consultants to support Organisation on their Cost measures.
  • Drive continuous and long-term improvements in quality and productivity of the team s delivery
  • Be a strategic thinker, honest, openminded, transparent and be able to deal with high level of ambiguity.
  • Develop and publish robust metrics that communicate the performance of processes/People across multiple dimensions
  • Be a strong role model of organization s core values and to drive the core value culture among team.
  • Establishing strong communication channels and exemplary relationship building with tax managers across the countries to seek their feedback periodically and to ensure process deliverables are operating in conjunction with their customized/country specific requirements
  • Responsible for people development, coaching and mentoring.
, *Educational Qualification and Experience Required
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant/CWA or ICWA or MBA with Finance / Accounts,
  • 10 to 12 years of total experience with at least 5 to 7 years in a people / process management role.
  • Flexible to work varied shifts to support multi regional teams.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Sound Accounting and Tax Knowledge.
  • Strong Analytical skills and ability to work along with cross country / functional teams.
  • Very strong business communication and metrics management experience.
  • Should be efficient people manager who can manage and motivate direct reports to get best out of them and can foster win-win environment
  • Flexible mindset to foster coordination across cross boarder resources and partnering with multiple tax managers globally Good interpersonal skill.
