Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering,Technology or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of management consulting experience or 4 years of experience in operations or program management in a technical environment.
• Experience with strategic programs that span multiple organizations.

Preferred qualifications:

• Advanced degree in an Analytical, Technical, Legal, or Operations Management field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience handling multiple stakeholders with a proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to represent the Trust and Safety values in all interactions.
• Passion for preventing fraud and abuse, expertise in operational scaling, and ability to meet challenging operational goals.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.

As a Manager on Safe Browsing, youll lead a global team, bringing in your thought leadership, to collaborate cross functionally with teams both within and outside of Trust and Safety to fight abuse on Google Chrome and the extensions ecosystem. You will partner with Engineering teams, Product Managers, Legal, Policy and Vendor Operations teams to drive operational performance and lower abuse rates. You will also enable effectiveness and efficiency by providing thought leadership, execution excellence and people management guidance to deliver cross-functional initiatives at scale.

A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of analysts working across multiple products and initiatives, identify opportunities for automation and scale existing workflows.
• Drive prioritization, alignment and implementation of abuse enforcement initiative and help the team grow their skills and develop their careers.
• Collaborate with and manage relationships with partner teams to achieve shared objectives, provide strategic insight and frontend execution.
• Deliver industry leading fraud and abuse prevention solutions, measure impact and establish metrics for programs, comprehensive reporting and actionable insights on risks and controls.
• Work as part of a global management team with regards to strategy, process improvement, people development and technology implementation.
