Job Description

Role & ResponsibilitiesPurpose:Mechanical CAD Designer will be responsible for the 3D Design and Drawing detailing of projects delivered from India engineering Center. He/She also will work on full lifecycle ME projects working closely with Global R&D & Cross functional team.Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to handle new parts design and integration
  • Responsible to make 3D models & drawings detailing
  • Should do QC verification of drawings
  • Should assist the project lead in the day to day work
  • To work with Cross functional team of Production, Sourcing & Engineering for new product development / Sustenance Engineering
  • Work with global R&D to execute the project
  • Promote and create standardization and re-usable design libraries that can be reused in subsequent projects
Candidate Requirement
  • Bachelor s degree in Mechanical engineering. Masters in Thermal/ Fluid engineering ( optional)
  • 0~2 yrs of experience in 3D CAD design and drawing detailing.
  • Proficient in GD&T, tolerancing & Drafting practices and principles.
  • Proficient in Solid Works
  • Should have good understanding of sheet metal and plastic component 3D modeling and design
  • Should have Experience with Product Data Management (EPDM) software
  • Capable to do quality check independently on Cad Design & Drawings
  • Any experience or proficiency in followings will be considered as added advantage:
  • Refrigeration, Thermal experience & Hydraulics/Flow Engineering
  • Hands on theoretical calculations and mathematical modeling at system and component level
  • Product development tools like Risk assessment, Root cause analysis procedures, DFMEA, PFMEA, etc
  • Material selections and manufacturing fundamentals
  • Experience with Chiller, Circulators & flow control equipment
