Job Description

JOB PURPOSE (JOB SUMMARY): Global Fund Services- Financial Reporting, working in conjunction with professionals in the US and Canada, primarily offers services in support of Invesco s North American Products. These services include the preparation and quality review of financial data for inclusion in financial reports to fund shareholders, regulatory organizations and industry associations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

  • Provide leadership to the Fund Financial Reporting team and hold overall accountability for results associated with review of Fund Financial Statements including Schedule of Investments (SOI), Statements of Assets & Liabilities (SOAL), Statements of Profit, cashflows and other notes to Financials which form part of Shareholder s reports for US and Canadian domiciled investment funds including mutual funds, ETFs, money market funds etc.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs and important metrics associated with all functional results
  • Take lead in transitioning various fund financial reporting activities from multiple geographical locations
  • Establish and drive goals for the reporting organization that comprises individual contributors and people managers
  • Establish and supervise important metrics to continually evaluate the quality of work delivered by service providers
  • Work with global functional counterparts to develop policies and procedures to ensure consistency of service delivery across all locations
  • Accountable for ensuring all activities related to corporate talent cycle (goal setting, development discussions, performance management, rewards & recognition) for the team are adhered to
  • Continually supervise key operational metrics, including but not limited to, capacity planning, utilization, efficiency, work distribution to promote optimum utilization of resources
  • Drive a culture of active collaboration and continuous learning to drive people development goals and business priorities
  • Supervise new processes/functions and changes to existing processes and procedures.
  • Support audit processes performed by internal and external auditors via gathering, organizing, and supporting audit requests and collaborating closely with audit personnel, as appropriate
  • Optimally partner with various stakeholders to drive business goals and other key initiatives
  • Engage in cross-functional initiatives, as required, to promote Continuous Improvement initiatives
WORK EXPERIENCE/ DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE:
  • 10-12 years of experience in Fund Administration Functions including Fund Financial Reporting. 5-7 years of people management experience.
  • Expertise in leading Fund Financial Reporting processes in the current role
