As Application Reliability Engineer, you will:- Design/develop/test software delivery pipelines and cloud deployments- Perform tuning and troubleshooting of Websphere application server, WAS Integrations (IBM MQ)and Apache (HTTP) web server- Identify manual processes that can be automated using UNIX Shell scripting(must)/Python (desired)- Perform Site reliability, monitoring, performance and security activities.- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve engineering tools, procedures, and data security.- Play a key role in agile processes (standups, sprint planning, stories, retrospectives etc)- Oversee tasks including: change management, incident management, user management, security access and controls, work order management, application and business data recovery, and disaster recovery.- Provide support of mission critical systems and serve as primary point of contact for coordination and resolution of HTTP web server, Websphere application server, and MQ issues with J2EE applications.Skills required:Must have 8 years of experience in Application reliability engineering.Strong experience with Unix scripting.Must have knowledge on multi processes (or threads) in shell scriptsMust have Experience with Git, Maven build scripts and Jenkins based CI/CD processMust have experiecne in WebSphere Application Server Administration, HTTP Server/Apache webserver, TOMCAT Administration skills.Knowledge of HTTP and HTTPS and other Internet protocols (e.g., DNS, LDAP, Telnet, SMTP, SNMP, SSH) (desired)Experience with JMS provider, Queues, queue connection factories and activation specification to integrate MQ with WebSphere App servers.(desired)Experience working with connectivity to multiple data environments (e.g. Oracle, SQL, Hadoop, etc.).(desired)Experience in handling Linux memory issues (desired)Experience in file manipulation using bash and ksh scripts (desired)Experience in mantaining Global PayPlus/Temenos Transact (desired),
