It helps the individual to contribute to Novartis vision to ReImagine MedicineAbout the Role:This role is accountable to support the engineering of different Content Management platform technologies which include Novartis document management systems, primarily the newly built platform that hosts all future applications. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building innovative solutions for complex business problems and collaborating cross-functionally.You will be primarily responsible to build and maintain robust well-orchestrated services for developing/deploying code and data using CI/CD frameworks. A catalyst to administer and support the CI/CD infrastructure including software upgrade, analysis and planning, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and day to day maintenance.Job Description Design, build and maintain the CI/CD infrastructure, tools and container platform that runs on Kubernetes Design and implement features and functionality for upcoming major and minor releases mainly on Automation stack including Documentum platform technologies as necessary (D2, Indexing Services, Retention Policy Services) Ensure that project/enhancements work is delivered to agreed time, cost and quality constraints following the release calendars. Work with solution architects on the technical design of core components. Resolve customer issues and provide debugging if necessary, primarily for CI/CD tool components (L4 support). Single Point of accountability for all CI/CD infrastructure technical questions. Collaboration with the application and project management teams that build and manage the applications running on top of the CI/CD platforms to ensure all necessary requests are managed within the CI/CD framework. Responsible for continuous improvement of services. Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Solution Design scope. Understanding of complex technical solutions and interdependencies with business capabilities and business operations in the document management area. Working with Global team & global stakeholder engagement.Mandatory skill: Experience with Git, configuring CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and expert-level proficiency with container environments like Docker and Kubernetes Experience in working with Infrastructure as Code. Driving automatic configuration of infrastructure with Chef or Puppet Or Ansible Strong Shell scripting and Python programming experience. Experience in monitoring tools like Prometheus and ELK stack or similar tools. Experience in Linux/Unix, Agile methodologies & ITIL process and understanding in Oracle Database.
