Job Description

Pre Sales AE, Expert

Location: Hyderabad, IN

Job Description Wireless engineer (AE) is required to support wireless R&D and manufacturing customers like QC, Samsung, TechM, Nokia, NSC and network operators in India. Utilize company s test platforms to perform tests and analysis on 4G and 5G UE, eNB, gNB including transmitter and receiver tests for performance evaluation. Help customers to improve product quality, shorten development cycle, and optimize their production testing. Support the field engineering team in troubleshooting complex customer problems. The primary support will however be for QC Hyderabad. Required Technical Skills
  • Thorough understanding of cellular technologies like GSM, CDMA, WCDMA and LTE, 5G and connectivity technologies like 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ah/ad WLAN, 802.15 Bluetooth/BT LE and GPS
  • Understanding of L1 operations between UE and enodeB, iRAT, Handovers, MIMO, CA and test methods of validating UE performance at L1
  • Good understanding of L2 and L3 protocols for communication between UE and enodeB, IMS, VoIP, VoLTE, eMBMS and their test methods
  • Understanding of 3GPP Release 8 to Release 16 features, its interpretation and test cases applicable for enodeB and UE
  • Hands on experience on Keysight instruments including 8960, EXM, UXM, UXM 5G Signal Generator, Signal Analyzer and VSA is required.
  • Good understating of L1 operations for connectivity technologies like 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ah/ad WLAN, 802.15 Bluetooth/BT LE and GPS along with their test methods is required.
  • Detail understanding of DVT, PRT and CTS 5G test systems
  • Proficient in Object Oriented Programming in C, C++, C#, .Net, Visual Studio

Education Requirements

  • B. Tech./M. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
  • Experience: 10 to 14 years
