Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer / LeadJob DescriptionThe Datacenter Graphics Products Group within the Graphics and Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) organization, which is part of the IAGS (Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software) Supergroup, is responsible for the development of discrete Graphics and AI SoCs for Datacenter applications. We are looking for a Pre-Silicon Validation Engineer / Lead with the following responsibilitiesThe Datacenter Graphics Products Group within the Graphics and Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) organization, which is part of the IAGS (Intel Architecture, Graphics and Software) Supergroup, is responsible for the development of discrete Graphics and AI SoCs for Datacenter applications.Defining & modelling of performance targets /use casesDeveloping Pre-Si performance verification plans for IP, Sub System and SOCArchitecting Testsbench Infrastructure & Content development methodologies for simulation/Emulation performance verificationIn coordination with System team & architects, tuning performance results to meet product bounding boxSupporting Post Si performance measurements/debug and correlating results between Pre and Post SI validation to fine tune performance modelsMentoring and ramping other performance verification team membersMay also have to work with internal/external customers for technical discussions, SOW definition etc.QualificationsMS in EE 15+ years of prior experience working on microprocessors/asics Extensive Experience with validation / verification methodologies and computer architecture Experience in capturing and evaluating performance parameters for various benchmarks, workloads & game traces Knowledge of C++/Scripting languages 5+ years of experience of Performance Verification at SOC level Excellent communication skillsInside this Business GroupThe focus of Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) is to accelerate our execution in strategic growth areas of high-performance computing and graphics.
