Job Description

Ensures the Head of Analytics and Data science team is supported with engineering capabilities & facilitate data enabled decision making for Novartis internal procurement stakeholders and customers using data analysis and data science techniques / methods to solve business problems. Ability to understand the procurement domain, Ability to work and Manage a team of analytic engineers who are hands on and are skilled in Python ,NIM, Graph db s structuring data to enable faster data wrangling. Deliver services through structured project management approach with appropriate documentation and communication throughout the delivery of services & have an ability to deliver advanced analytical and statistical solutions for various projects related to return on investment (ROI) analysis, resource allocation, segmentation, targeting, and other ad-hoc business questions as per agreed timeliness, accuracy, quality, etc. and drive excellent customer satisfaction. Network with Novartis ecosystem of analytics engineers to derive more value for Procurement & Support in building capabilities by involving in various initiatives like knowledge sharing, on-boarding and training support, support in all business related tasks/activities, building process documentation and knowledge repositories & Comply to all Novartis operating procedures as per legal/IT/HR requirements. Support team leaders in recruitment and on-boarding of new associates within the organization & Participate in various knowledge sharing sessions that enables growth and improves quality of procurement deliverables across the function, exploratory research to identify new areas of application of advanced analytics/data science in providing enhanced decision making support. Support in creation and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality checklists that will enable excellent quality outputs within the function & Support in developing and maintaining knowledge repositories that captures qualitative and quantitative reports of brands, disease areas, macroeconomic trends of Novartis operating markets, and other relevant critical master data elements etc.Minimum requirements Graduation/PG in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or Quantitative streams Programming languages/tools R, SAS, Python, SQL, Nymph Visualization tools Qlikview, TableGood understanding of Pharmaceutical domain, strong quantitative, systems background, analytical thinking with problem solving approach Should be proactive, results oriented, proven ability to provide insights that increase productivity with a strong Stakeholder management skill, ability to work with multiple stakeholders & exposure to working in cross-cultural environment. Experience (5+ years) in analytics, experience in pharma industry is desirable.Why consider Novartis 799 million.
