As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will work with a very high-performance team that focuses on building next-generation platform services at Auzmor. Responsibilities*Will be responsible for manually testing all platform APIs*To maintain/validate consistency of API documentation*Understand the purpose/scope of the API*Write automated tests for all the edge cases for the API by reading the API documentation*Load and Security testing on web services*Automate the API test execution in the CI/CD pipelineRequirements:As an API automation tester, you must have good understanding & knowledge about SOAP, REST. You should have a clear understanding of services & web services.You must know about the structure of SOAP & REST request. Must be familiar with verbs like GET, POST, PUT, DELETE & PATCH. Must be aware of different tools supporting either REST, SOAP or both architectures. Being an automation tester a strong grip on API automation tool is mandatory.*2-4 years experience with any small to medium-sized products company or startup*Should be able to use all the web methods like GET, POST, DELETE etc*Validate the response, response time, error code etc*Able to validate the XML and JSON body by using JSON parsers*data-driven automation using external sources like Excel, JSON*Must know to use OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms, multiple authorization mechanisms utilized for accessing API*Able to read and understand the API documentationAble to derive a good number of test cases and scenarios.*Should be good in SQL queries to validate API and DB data elements*Become master in a tool of your own choice SOAP UI and Postman are not Automation tools. Python, Rest Assured, Rest Sharp, Node modules are the open source libraries for API testing. Should have experience with at least one.*Understanding the concept of test independence tests that can be run individually and must clean up after themselves*Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.,"
