Job Description

Position Responsibilities The QA Engineer Procurement is responsible for overseeing feature testing, system testing, and writing automated tests within a QA team. This position works closely with application developers, business analysts, and infrastructure engineers through all stages of the software development process to ensure that all systems meet organization standards and end-user requirements.

  • Responsible for application analysis, test strategy development, test case creation, test script development, test execution and defect tracking
  • Being able to report deficiencies and any output from the above stated QA process
  • Validate fixes and ensures regression testing to given test cycles
  • Absorb and understand system design, business rules, and functional components of large scale implementations
  • Adhere to established standards and procedures, including testing and documentation standards
Qualifications / Requirements
  • At least 5+ years of strong QA experience.
  • 2+ years of experience testing large-scale Procurement systems.
  • Experience using HP ALM as Test Management Defect tracking tool.
  • Experience with different testing methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile and Scrum.
  • Experience in creating Test plans, Test Cases, Test Reports
  • Experience of Test Automation
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and ability to write SQL Queries.
  • Ability to interpret, evaluate and communicate detailed information.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Being an individual team contributor
  • Having good and robust English communication skills
Additional
  • Master s degree in Business, MIS or related field
  • Bachelor s degree in business, computer science, IT or related field;
  • Working Hours 12.30pm to 9.30pm with a 1 hour break
  • Reporting to Senior QA Manager based in Hyderabad
Preferred
  • Knowledge of Ariba Enterprise Suite.
  • Java (J2EE), Web Services, and XML experience;
