Conducts day- to- day plan administration including accurate and timely recordkeeping, research, and correspondence with plan sponsors, participants, broker/ dealers, and external third- party administrators, handling routine transactions/ inquiries related to account status and fund activity. Completes plan documents for all plan types based on product criteria. Plan Set- up : Coordinates setup for retirement plan installations and conversions. Reviews initial application forms and Adoption Agreements and implements plan design parameters in system setup. Based on application forms selects appropriate funds for the plan. Conducts quality checks and reviews to ensure that systems requirements are properly entered and functioning. Works with Plan Design and Retirement Plan Conversion teams to resolve outstanding issues properly and within specified timeframes.R & T/ RPAM/ Adjustments: May research annual compliance information to assist with IRS Form 5500 preparation, compliance testing, and related reporting. Researches account and transaction records to resolve account issues and basic discrepancies and takes corrective action where necessary, including correcting Form 5500 and re- filing as appropriate. Assists management in the documentation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the organization is operating in compliance with reporting requirements and other such regulations. Uses developed specialized skills to complete a wide range of tasks with a limited degree of supervision. Takes a broad approach to problems and identifies new, creative solutions. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
