Job Description

Team leader handling a team of Quality Assurance department.
Material Characterization Destructive and Nondestructive testing - Mechanical testing (Tensile testing etc.), Metallography, Ultrasonic testing and Eddy current Testing.
Dimensional inspection/precision measurements.
Calibrations/ control of monitoring and measuring instruments.
In-coming goods inspection.
In-process and final goods inspection.
Handling Customer complaints and approach towards problem solving methods and leading CFT to take root cause analysis & Corrective actions.
Exposure to the special processes like Welding technology and Heat treatment processes.
Supporting internal CFT members in resolving process related issues .
Issuance of test certificates for customer along with the product.
Issue of Manufacturing Quality Plan to customers.
Handling 3rd Party agencies/ Customer as part of inspection witness.
Active participation in continual improvement initiatives with creative ideas.
Conducting internal audits to ensure the system adherence across the functions.
Understanding of international standards/Codes.
