Job Description

Responsibilities

  • The candidate will assist the professor in the ongoing research work and in the development of research papers.
  • The candidate must have extremely high standards in terms of quality of work, attention to detail, and absolute commitment to task completion.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • A strong interest in Economics and Finance with a passion for research
    • A Graduate or Postgraduate degree from top Engineering Statistics Economics programs with high CGPA from IIT, IIM, DSE , etc.
    • Evidence of academic excellence.
    • Excellent analytical and programming skills (Prior experience or training in data science statistics is preferred)
    • Candidates that have expertise in statistical programming STATA, R and Python would have an edge.
    • Candidates that have demonstrated ability to pursue academic or industry-oriented research are preferred
    • Excellent communication and writing skills
    • This position is a good fit for those looking to do a PhD in the future.
