  • Provides Engineering Support.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Reliability Engineering practices
  • Initiates Root Cause Analysis of equipment failures and major breakdowns
  • Identifies and proposes solutions for repeat equipment failures and unplanned downtime events
  • Participates in execution of critical equipment inspections and analysis
  • Analyses Equipment Data, recommended maintenance plans, drawings, etc.
  • Writes technically based Equipment Maintenance Plans
  • Performs tracking and trending of equipment maintenance performance
  • Updates drawings and technical documentation
  • Fulfills the commitment to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Fulfills the responsibilities required to achieve the Quality Commitment
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7 years engineering experience in heavy industry required. (Mining domain preferred)
KNOWLEDGE:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles and practices
  • Maintenance Knowledge of heavy industrial equipment
  • Technical knowledge of
    • Bulk Material handling equipment like crushers, Screens, Feeders, Conveyors, Yard storage equipment, Loading and unloading systems related equipment.
    • Machine Elements like -
      • Critical wear components like Mantle, Main Frame, Deck Panels, Teeth rings, Liners etc.
      • Rotational equipment; mechanical power transmission, drive shafts, bearings, couplings.
      • Fixed elements like Structures, Frames, Access platforms, Cable trays etc.
      • Instrumentation & communication related kits and parts maintenance plans and its analysis
      • Hydraulic systems; cylinders, servo valves, piping, hose connections, filtration, etc.
      • Lubrication systems; centralized oil and grease systems, lubrication practices, etc.
      • Coolers, Chillers, Heat Exchangers.
    • Maintenance strategy development for above listed equipment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Practices, asset criticality assessments.
  • Knowledge of Preventative & Predictive Maintenance techniques and analysis
SKILLS:
  • RCM practitioner experience
  • FMECA
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Technical Writing skills
  • Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
  • Microsoft Office
  • Statistical Data Analysis
  • Power BI or similar dashboard/reporting tool
  • Demonstrates strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to competently handle a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal communications skills, written and verbal
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic and displays a high degree of professionalism
