You ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver the next generation of experiences for Microsoft Azure. As a Design Researcher II, you should have experience with a broad array of research methods and activities. As your product team creates new features, you ll enable them to make decisions based on data and user perspectives. You know how to deliver your work and have impact on a feature or product, but you re also thinking about doing research that impacts beyond your responsibilities. You are detail-oriented and thorough in your approach to research methodology, but flexible enough to work within time and product constraints. Most importantly, you re a passionate advocate for our customers throughout the development process and can prove how good user experience leads to business value., Required Qualifications:Proven record of having an impact on products with research activities.Advanced degree in psychology, Human-Computer Interactions, human factors (HF engineering OR HF psychology), or industrial engineering.Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred qualifications:2+ years of experience in the technology industry conducting user research.Experience with a range of research methodologies (usability studies, interviews, site visits, surveys, user modeling, card sorting, etc.).Skills:Experience generating research plansAbility to carry out multiple simultaneous research streamsAbility to define and track user experience metricsExperience turning research results into actionable teamwork items#DTPJobs#C+AIDesignMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
