As a SAP FICO Functional Engineer for OTC, you will be a key driver in building our digital core global ERP platform.Maersk is on multi-year program to revamp its technology and digital solutions platforms. As part of our strategy, SAP will act as the digital core for the company s major processes enabled by SAP s latest S4HANA & SAP Cloud offerings. Maersk currently has two ECC based SAP finance solutions running our Ocean and Logistics & Services divisions. Our vision is to subsume these existing legacy SAP solutions into a single greenfield S4HANA implementation serving both our Ocean and Logistics & Services businesses. As an SAP FICO Functional Engineer for OTC, you will be responsible to work hands-on in SAP to execute the delivery. As part of ensuring a successful work-life balance, we promote flexible work-hours and offer attractive parental leave besides several other employee friendly benefits.Show More Key responsibilitiesYou will need to in collaboration with the product manager and engineering manager help define product vision, objectives and key results in alignment with business goals You will be responsible to translate business requirements into delivered products in Order-To-Cash, General Ledger, Tax, Asset Accounting, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Master Data Governance and Migration, Banking & Treasury, Revenue Recognition (RAR) Controlling modules You will be responsible for hands-on SAP solution delivery and configuration for the FICO integration topics in Order-to-Cash across all the Maersk business units You will need to work hands-on both in our current legacy SAP ECC environments as well as the future SAP S/4HANA solution You will work in agile teams with product owners, SAP developers/engineers and scrum master in executing on prioritized backlog You will need to assist in managing the Product Backlog: including prioritization of needs, creation of backlog items and mapping out dependencies in collaboration with business users and customers You will need to anticipate business and customer needs; create and use customer journey maps and develop deep knowledge of the markets in which the product operates Work closely with overall development teams embracing Agile way of working; contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint and work with the team to refine and improve the development process. You will be responsible to help evaluate product progress and be accountable for each stage of the development process and the final product itself. You will need to evaluate product progress at each iteration, determine whether final product is acceptable. You will be required to make any need course corrections and provide suggestions for continuous improvements to both the technology product as well as the delivery process You will be responsible to improve the product performance metrics. These include value delivery, user satisfaction, performance of the support process, compliance, cost, stability of the product and deployment/roll-out performance. To be successful, you need to perform stakeholder management related to your product(s) You will be involved in contributing to developing product and agile practices for MaerskShow More We are looking forYou have: 6- 8 years experience as SAP Functional FICO Engineer for OTC Experience in modules of SAP FICO, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Tax, AA, AP, Master Data Governance and Migration, Banking & Treasury, Revenue Recognition (RAR) Controlling modules Experience of having worked in large, complex & fast-changing SAP environments Strong experience in integration of SAP FICO with SAP SD or BRIM SAP FICA integrating with Convergent Invoicing Experience in working with OTC & ATR & business process/activity owners in understanding business requirement and solution design Proven ability to work in delivering solutions that are heavy in integrations with other applications Proven ability to work in both SAP ECC as well as SAP S/4HANA Experience with SAP BRIM (Hybris Billing Convergent Invoicing and FICA) would be a distinct advantage Experience with S4HANA implementation or rollouts would be an added advantage Possess excellent consulting & problem-solving skills Hands-on experience in working in both agile and waterfall methodologies would be an advantage Have excellent communication and articulation skills both written and verbal Experience in Logistics and/or Shipping industries would be a bonus Experience in working with Agile, Scrum and waterfall delivery models Excellent problem solving & communication skills Bachelors Degree in Engineering or IT related discipline Certification in SAP FICO or SAP BRIM would be a distinct advantageShow More,
