    Role Summary/Purpose:
      You will be a key member of a core team of ten+ people who are responsible for enhancing, evolving, and supporting a large on-premises highly-available Electricity Market system. The team includes power systems, database, software, and optimization engineers as well as developers like yourself.
    Essential Responsibilities:
        You have experience building mission critical enterprise systems with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and Oracle or equivalent languages or tools.
        You have experience with secure design patterns and modern CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins, Ansible, or equivalent tools.
        You have experience building RESTful APIs and familiarity with legacy SOAP APIs.
        You have some professional experience in Linux based systems.
        Any experience you may have building enterprise user interfaces with modern frameworks like Angular and React will be valuable when we migrate in that direction.
      You are a good communicator, able to clearly communicate high level requirements and designs to the customer and to team members who may not share your depth of knowledge. If you do not enjoy writing, you at least recognize it as a necessary evil.
    Qualifications/Requirements:
      Minimum experience: 4 yearsEducation: Bachelors of Computer Science or equivalent work experience. Job type: Full time
