Job Description

Title: Cloud Ops EngineerAs key player in the Cloud monitoring team, you will be responsible for monitoring infrastructure and application availability and perform remediation action to recover from failures in a timely manner to meet 99.9 UP time SLA commit to E2open customers.Functions and Responsibilities:Core:

  1. Monitor E2open Infrastructure using available tools and process.
  2. Monitor E2oopen Applications using available tools and alerts.
  3. Perform remediation actions for known alerts by following established SOPs.
  4. Perform Identity & Access management internal & external users
  5. Provide L1/L2 level of support for E2open Cloud Operations.
Extended:
  1. Automate existing manual job monitoring processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
  2. Instrument applications to enable monitoring & automation capabilities.
Qualifications including education:
  • BS or MS in computer science or related fields
  • Working experience on monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Nagios, Cacti and/or custom tools and processes associated with it.
  • Experience on web application deployment, administration and monitoring.
  • Administrative knowledge of database systems such as SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.
  • Experience on Directory Services such as Microsoft AD, OpenLDAP or OpenDJ.
  • Awareness of IT compliance policies and knowledge of cloud security, ITIL certification is good to have.
  • Scripting knowledge using PowerShell, Bash, Perl or Python for scripting and automation.
