Recruit, hire and train top technical talent in these disciplines and develop proactive plans to continue growing the team s technical expertiseShould have ability to influence and drive people / activities to build organizational capability and capacity.Build and enhance processes to capture and reuse knowledge gained throughout the product development lifecyclesIncorporate lessons learned from validation and field experience to drive design practice improvementsDrive continuous and measurable improvement in productivity, quality, efficiency and reliabilityWork with NPI Project Managers to ensure adequate funding and schedules are provided to execute on planned projects Use network to pull together experts as and when required to support customersMaintain a strong awareness of the software industry and use that knowledge when making decisions and supporting the growth and evolution of the groupDrive strategic development improvements into the groups engineering practicesCommunicate development status appropriately to team and all stakeholders in a timely and professional fashionWork together with product owner to plan and execute projects, ensure the teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction and resources to deliver products effectively by establishing realistic timelines estimates while ensuring that projects remain on track, *Desired Educational QualificationBachelor s /Master s degree in Electronics/Computer Science with at least 10 years of product software engineering experienceAt least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer At least 4 years of experience leading engineering teams as Team Lead or ManagerTechnical Skills / Knowledge Required Solid grasp of modern software development tools and methodsDemonstrated success as a change agent in the introduction of new processesSolid track record of engineering accomplishmentAt least 5 years experience in design of control systems productsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEmbedded Software development (C,C++) with strong understanding of real-time operating system (RTOS) concepts and development experience with Intel x86/ARM architecture based microprocessors and micro controllersKnowledge of Firmware development life cycle and Agile development methods.Understands backlog tracking, Scrum and Kanban based metrics, task definition and story splitting.Awareness of Hardware Development cycleGood communication and presentation skills both verbal and written with ability contribute and provide updates as needed on project execution and technical content to various internal stakeholders.
