Job Description

    Sr. Manager / AVP - Application Support (Financial Services) Key Responsibilities : - Job holder will be accountable for 24x7 L1/L2 Support of all Platforms & Integrations- Owner of ITIL processes, reporting of KPIs, stakeholder management and financial management- Responsible for leading the Monitoring and Application Product Support teams with full people management responsibility, as well as full business accountability for the services in scope.- Escalation point and owner to drive resolution of all L1/L2 Incidents, Problem Tickets, Change Management and Service Requests, and issues for all Support & Integrations services.- Nurture an environment of innovation, standardization, simplification and continuous improvement, leading changes that drive efficiencies into existing support and integration processes.- Act as forward-thinking leader and remain current on modern technology-leading trends such as Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), observability, Self-healing etc.- Attract, retain, and grow top talent, providing guidance, career development and mentorship to team members.- Owns governance externally as well as alignment with business through Stakeholder Management to internal customers.- Should have the ability to own the incidents observed and should be able to close them end to end.- Collaboration, teamwork is expected.- In Incident Management, the key responsibility is availability of the systems. Should work towards ensuring the services systems are restored may be with a work around or a quick fix.- Will be responsible for identifying the root Cause of problem, should be able to arrive at possible optimum solution and should be able to fix incidents permanently.- Problem Solving capabilities.- Being a financial institution, the applications are available 24X7 hence it is expected that the candidate should be available to manage the resolution of the problems Experience & Skills required : - 8+ years of overall technology industry experience and Application & Platform support for Banks/NBFCs, medium to large-scale organizations- Bachelors Degree in engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, or related experience required- Experience working on programming languages such as android, DotNet and NodeJS as application support manager- Should have a decent understanding of the application stack (Java, .Net technologies) including proficiency on any one of the Application Server especially WAS / Web logic/J BOSS and Database Technologies MSSQL/MYSQL- SOAP and RESTful API integrations, troubleshooting, debug and support- Experience with tools such as JIRA Service Desk, JIRA, Jenkins, Kibana, etc.,
