This team is responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting a large global network consisting of 100+ office locations and 50 data centers. As a member of this team, you will have a direct impact on design and feature enhancements to keep our environment running smoothly. You will work closely with the India & US team to ensure network and security of our company are safe and efficient by proactively monitoring performance, vulnerabilities, coordinating planned maintenance, and responding to any incidents to keep our engineers productive. Responsibilities Ensure our network and security infrastructure is free of vulnerabilities by patching OSs and hardening configuration templates Perform fault isolation and trouble resolution on network & security hardware, software, and circuits Participate in on call activities and follow escalation process to support the infrastructure 24/7 Proactively contribute to documentation, automation, and process improvement Participate in our trouble ticketing system ensuring our global employee base is running at optimal efficiency Responsible for taking handover from project team for the completed projects and thereon provide operational support Drive initiatives to completion Drive meetings and organize necessary resources from cross functional teams Support escalated incidents that require advanced troubleshooting skills Lead and collaborate with other Engineering team members in the development of technical design solutions Reviews and evaluates technological network related needs and recommends appropriate solutions Key Qualifications BA/BS in a technical field or equivalent experience 5+ years of network and security administration experience, supporting medium and large enterprise environments Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Cisco IOS/NX-OS general knowledge Palo Alto Firewall general knowledge Aruba Wireless and network general knowledge Knowledgeable on OWASP Top 10 and general security best practices Ability to assess and perform vulnerability mitigation Preferred Qualifications Security+ certification Ansible or python type scripting and programming skills Prior experience automating workflow and processes Willing to work 24/7 shift work hours Excellent troubleshooting skills and creative problem-solving abilitiesDesired Candidate ProfilePerks and Benefits,
