Job ID: JR0181530Job Category: EngineeringPrimary Location: Hyderabad, INOther Locations:Job Type: Experienced HireSenior Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer/Lead (SoC Verification)Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGraphics & Throughput Computing Hardware Engineering (GTCHE) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, media, compute, and display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We are looking for an Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer with good SoC verification experience to join our team.In this position, you will be working as part of a Pre-silicon SoC Verification Team for current and next generation Graphics Products.Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Creating verification environments, checker strategies and test generators for validating the sub system functionality in the SOC.Learning the SOC architecture by debugging test failures to the root causeDeveloping and utilizing various software tools and/or methodologies with the goal to ensure highly functional firmwareCommunicating effectively, coordinating and working with Architects and Design developers and SOC integration teamsPotentially participating in the debug of Subsystem and SoC failures and developing new testing strategies to detect pre-silicon issues.Required Skills and Experience:

  • Good understanding of Computer Architecture
  • Experience validating complex SoCs
  • Good understanding of Memory Subsystem, Cache Coherency Protocols, Memory Management Unit
  • Strong foundation in GPU/CPU architecture and interfaces is a plus
  • Understanding of industry standard protocols is a plus
  • Expertise in system verilog and OVM or UVM based verification methodologies
  • Hands on Debug experience is a must
  • Experience in OOPS concepts and knowledge of C++ is a plus
  • Scripting knowledge (PERL or PYTHON) is desirable
