Job Description

As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to bring delightful, polished, end to end experiences to life on our large screen collaborative devices. You will also play a key role in open-ended explorations, prototyping and identifying business opportunities for the next wave of future devices - and were looking for strong technical leaders to bring their passion, drive and technical acumen. We have a wide spectrum of fantastic opportunities to further advance your career and expand your skillset from building UI using the latest cutting-edge XAML technologies, designing new APIs in conjunction with the our platform team partners, to interfacing directly with hardware teams to build the essential platform and infrastructure in our OS, as well as working directly with our customers to understand their needs and deliver magical software that exceeds their expectations!, REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

  • At least 10 years of experience designing, building and shipping software at scale
  • Expertise with C/C++ development
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility to drive technical engagements with partner engineers in Redmond
  • Experience with complete feature ownership from design, through implementation, measure creation to monitoring in-market quality, and listening to and addressing customer feedback
  • Passion for customer empathy and building high quality experiences to meet those customer needs
  • Proactive and self-motivated, and willingness to take on challenging technical issues
RECOMMENDED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
  • Familiarity with building UI using XAML/WPF/UWP is a plus!
  • Experience shipping device-based projects and enterprise-focused experiences is a bonus
